MISSION STATEMENT

St. John School is a Catholic educational community located in Middletown, Connecticut. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1882, this school continues to offer a challenging and enriching curriculum interwoven with an emphasis on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Students, pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8, are welcomed into a diverse, family-centered environment and encouraged to develop into kind, compassionate individuals with a life long love of learning.

The function of the HSA is:

To help parents and teachers acquire a profound appreciation of the ideals of Catholic education.

To promote a close relationship between parents and teachers in regard to education through informational programs of mutual interest.

To financially assist the school and school activities through fundraising programs.

To foster effective communication and cooperation between parents and teachers.

To improve the conditions and surroundings for the children.
